Information endurance

February 11, 2007

“What will come to be valued won’t even be so much intelligence, or aggregation of information produced by intelligence operations, or knowledge work, so much as information endurance. Those with information-endurance skills will come to be valued even if they aren’t especially bright. In fact, their deficits may help make them a sturdy and breeding stock, able to crush all their enemies and surge forth into the real-life universe to other galaxies where they will find other survived, mediocrities and malevolences just like themselves.” [From a post at Second Thoughts, Profky Neva’s blog on Second Life] Or maybe I’ve been reading too many blogs lately.
